Terms of Service

Last updated August 19, 2026

These terms govern your use of Nucleus. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to them. If you are using Nucleus on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for that company.

1. What Nucleus provides

Nucleus is a platform for hosting code repositories, generating and editing code with AI assistance, and deploying projects to the web. The service includes repository hosting, an AI workspace, a command-line tool, automated deployment, and related collaboration features.

Nucleus is under active development. Features may change, and some parts of the platform are still being built.

2. Your account

You need an account to create repositories, use AI features, or deploy. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your country. Do not create an account on behalf of someone else without their permission.

3. Your content stays yours

You keep all ownership of the code, documentation, and other content you upload to Nucleus. We claim no ownership over it.

You grant Nucleus only the permissions needed to run the service: to store your content, display it back to you and to anyone you share it with, transmit it to the AI providers described below when you use AI features, and publish it to hosting infrastructure when you choose to deploy.

If you mark a repository public, you are choosing to make its contents visible to anyone. Private repositories are visible only to you and to collaborators you add.

4. AI features

When you use the AI workspace, architecture analysis, agents, or any other AI feature, the relevant content from your repository is sent to a third-party AI provider — currently Anthropic (Claude) and xAI (Grok) — so it can generate a response. You choose which provider handles each request.

AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or insecure. Review generated code before you rely on it, run it, or ship it to production. You remain responsible for everything you deploy, regardless of whether AI wrote it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Nucleus to:

  • Store or distribute content that is illegal, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
  • Upload malware, or code intended to damage or gain unauthorized access to systems.
  • Attempt to access repositories, accounts, or data that are not yours.
  • Probe, scan, or disrupt the platform’s infrastructure or other users’ projects.
  • Abuse compute or AI resources — for example, automated bulk requests intended to exhaust capacity.
  • Resell or redistribute the platform’s AI capacity as your own product.

We may suspend or remove accounts and content that break these rules, and we may apply usage limits to keep the service running for everyone.

6. Deployment and third-party services

Deployed sites are published through Cloudflare Pages. Custom domains you connect or register through Nucleus are subject to the registrar’s own terms. You are responsible for the content of anything you publish, and for complying with the terms of any third-party service your project depends on.

7. Availability

Nucleus is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service.

Keep your own backups. Your repositories are stored on our infrastructure, but you should not treat Nucleus as your only copy of anything important.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nucleus is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of the service.

9. Ending your use

You may stop using Nucleus and delete your repositories at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. On closure, your content may be removed from our systems.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform develops. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Nucleus after a change means you accept the updated terms.
